Well... we're picking up... restarting... and still looking forward to faire. It's been kinda rough helping everyone clean up and get back to normal life. Been working insanely this last week to get things cleaned up, reorganized, and getting to work to keep people fed! Trying my best to keep a positive attitude. Gratitude is not the problem, it's just a little rough sometimes with people in crisis. On the upside.. i still have a roof over head... on the downside... i think i've been standing so long this week my feet are literally black and blue with bruises... oh well... it's a lot less to deal with then a lot of people.
I'm lucky to have what i have. I'm lucky to have my life, none of my friends were injured, some lost everything, but are grateful and happy to have their lives... and a friend of mine had a baby DURING the storm... no the child was NOT named Ike .. lol
